Technical Session Presentation Guidelines
To ensure a smooth and timely conference programme, all technical session presenters are kindly requested to follow the guidelines below.
Presentation Time
- Please strictly adhere to your allocated presentation time.
- Session chairs will manage the timing to ensure the programme runs according to schedule.
- Please plan your presentation accordingly and leave sufficient time for the conclusion and any questions.
Presentation Check-in
- Please arrive at your assigned session room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session.
- Presenters are requested to check and upload their presentation before the session begins.
- If possible, please provide your presentation to the session technician/organizing team in advance to avoid delays.
How to Provide Your Presentation
The session rooms will be equipped with a Windows computer, projector/display, and standard presentation facilities.
To ensure the smoothest transition between speakers, we strongly recommend that presenters:
- Bring their presentation on a USB flash drive.
- Save the presentation in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF format.
- Upload/copy the presentation to the conference computer before the session.
- Use the conference computer for the presentation whenever possible, rather than changing between personal laptops.
If you prefer to present using your own laptop, please arrive early and coordinate with the session technician to test the connection and presentation setup. Please also bring any necessary adapters/connectors for your laptop.
Presentation Template
A presentation template is provided for your reference. Presenters are welcome to use the template when preparing their slides.
Important Reminder
To avoid any technical delays and ensure that all presentations can proceed on time, we kindly recommend that presenters do not wait until the beginning of the session to set up their presentation.
